FirePower series S&S carburetor

The FirePower Series carburetor is designed for and meets the requirements of today’s high performance engines that need balanced, smooth performance. This Firepower carburetor is for the advanced enthusiast that needs more from their fuel system. This is a tunable, user friendly, carb that has been developed utilizing cutting edge fuel management technology adapted to the V-Twin engine.  This carb will require a minimum amount of tuning and it comes with extra tuning jets, air bleeds, and intermediate tubes. Application   

For all engines that exceed 70 horsepower or 78 foot pounds of torque. Ideal for 96ci engines and up. The Firepower carb has performed very well on a stock 88ci twin with only slip on mufflers, but is intended for larger engines.

 Features

  Modifications

·        The venturi is precision machine bored from 44mm to 47mm, then hand blended to final size, shape and finish.  All venturis are machine cut to allow for maximum cfm and consistency.  

• The cfm is increased to 385. The stock “G” with the DaVinci booster flows 354cfm: @20.4 H2O Superflow 600 *the increased average airflow is increased 36cfm. That’s a 10% gain in total airflow, over the stroke bore “G”
• Factory installed annular Power Booster.
• Butterfly shaft milled to increase airflow, while retaining structural stress point integrity
• Adjustable high speed air bleed. Allows tuners to custom tune their fuel curve to match engine modifications.
• Extended hexagon bowl bolt screws added to improve access and reduce time when removing the bowl.
• Extended idle screw knob. Allows the idle to be adjusted by hand.
• Large needle and seat to accommodate increased fuel demands.
• Main fuel jets can be changed using standard jet tool without removing the bowl.

High speed air bleed .031 (.040 is stock from S&S) 78 main jet   .031 intermediate   1 1/2 turns out on idle screw

DaVinci will not refuse any reasonable claim for the length of the carb’s existence. We are reasonable and will respect the wishes of the customer. We are craftsmen and are proud of our work, but if we cannot satisfy you, we will return your money, if you provide proof of purchase, without cause or question for a period of 90 days. Tuning hint: To lean the engine and delay the fuel use a larger size air bleed. To increase response and enriching the engine, decrease the air bleed. On high HP engines be careful not to lean it out too fast or  “RUT-ROW”.
